Agrace Thrift Stores’ annual Holiday Pop-up Shop will celebrate its grand opening Wednesday, October 28, offering a mix of donated new and gently used items for holiday entertaining, giving and decorating.
The temporary store will be open through November 28, Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located near the center of Madison’s East Towne Mall and is most easily accessed through the mall entrances near the food court or Flix Brewhouse.
Because the popular shop’s merchandise is donated by the community, most items are one-of-a-kind treasures, with new inventory added regularly.
“The Holiday Pop-up Shop is a celebration of holiday nostalgia, family get-togethers, and the different ways we light up our homes as the days get shorter,” said Katie O’Grady, Agrace’s retail business manager. “We are grateful for all the generous donations throughout the year that fill the shop with items that help people make new holiday memories.”
Proceeds from the Holiday Pop-up Shop support Agrace’s nonprofit mission and programs, including Care for All, which helps ensure people can receive Agrace’s care regardless of their ability to pay, and community grief support that’s available to anyone who is grieving.
Volunteers needed: Volunteers are needed to help set up and run the store. Prospective volunteers can learn more by calling Agrace at (608) 327-7163 or visiting Agrace.org/Volunteer.
Agrace operates four other resale stores in southern Wisconsin: three traditional thrift stores in Madison and Janesville and a Home Store in Madison that focuses on furniture and décor.
