Create a Lasting Tribute

Memorial donations and tributes help Agrace provide essential services that are not covered, or are only partially covered, by Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. These include grief support services, respite care for hospice patients, specialized clinical education for staff and charitable care through Care for All—a program that funds care people who cannot afford the services they need from Agrace.

Bricks and Butterflies can be purchased at any time using using our online purchase form below. If you have questions or would like a mailed brochure, please contact the Agrace Foundation at giving@agrace.org or (608) 327-7180.

 

Memorial Butterflies in Janesville and Madison

Handcrafted iron trellises full of personalized butterflies stand in the gardens at Agrace in Madison and Janesville. These are peaceful places to reflect on loved ones who have made a beautiful, lasting imprint on our lives.

Agrace adds butterflies purchased by donors to the memorials once a year. After that year, butterflies can be returned to you as a keepsake, or you can choose to keep your butterfly up by renewing your gift each year.

Butterfly sizes:

  • 3-inch Bronze acrylic butterfly ($150)
  • 4-inch Silver acrylic butterfly ($250)
  • 5-inch Gold acrylic butterfly ($500)
  • One-year renewal of any size butterfly ($150)

Memorial Bricks in Madison

Accented with engraved tribute bricks, the Agrace Memorial Walk encircles a small, shaded pond and fountain on our campus in Madison. It’s a peaceful place to visit where you can honor those who have brought joy and meaning to your life.

Agrace adds engraved bricks purchased by donors to the Memorial Walk once a year.

Memorial Dedication Events

Each summer, Agrace adds engraved bricks and butterflies to the memorials and invites all purchasers and their guests to a Memorial Dedication at Agrace. The tributes become part of the landscape for others to enjoy in Madison and Janesville, and the gift behind them supports Agrace’s mission of compassionate care.

Bricks and butterflies purchased by June 1 are dedicated that same year during the Memorial Dedication events held at Agrace each August.
