We’re hiring new graduate nurses who are looking for a fast-paced environment where they can apply critical-thinking skills to care for patients with a variety of medical conditions.

Apply now to begin a career in hospice nursing through Agrace’s RN New Graduate Program. It’s a two-year track of education and support for nursing graduates who have less than a year of experience. You can start before you are licensed and begin earning right away; we offer start dates twice a month.

Join Agrace's RN New Graduate Program to:

  1. Build clinical skills and relationships through:
    • monthly training sessions on symptom management, hospice principles and peer support throughout your first year,
    • quarterly training sessions on professional development, relationship building and self-care during your second year, and
    • a mentoring program to help you transition from student to nurse.
  2. Gain more varied experience than most hospital departments offer:
    • Care for patients of all ages and demographics, from pediatric to geriatric.
    • Treat patients with symptoms of cardiac, neuro and pulmonary illnesses, as well as dementia, cancer and rare diseases.
    • See patients with varying acuity.
    • Choose among working at Agrace’s acute-care inpatient units in Madison and Janesville, or in patients’ homes as a case manager, visit or admissions nurse.
  3. Collaborate with experienced hospice physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, spiritual & grief counselors and pharmacists.
  4. Be part of an interdisciplinary team that prioritizes patients’ goals and preferences, and puts RNs in a lead role in coordinating care.
  5. Work in your community, if you choose a case manager, visit nurse or admissions role. Here’s our service area.
