Lynne Sexten, FACHE, has been president and CEO of Agrace since 2012.
Under Sexten’s leadership, Agrace has grown to include four additional health services that complement its hospice program and has expanded its service area from five to 19 counties.

Under Sexten’s leadership, Agrace has grown to include four additional health services that complement its hospice program and has expanded its service area from five to 19 counties.
Sexten came to Agrace from Unity Point Health – Meriter in Madison where she served as executive vice president and chief operating officer. During her tenure, she was responsible for all inpatient and outpatient clinical services. Sexten oversaw the development of a new multi-specialty medical group that ultimately grew to include more than 120 physicians with eight clinic locations.
Prior to her leadership at Meriter, Sexten was a director of planning and program development for the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore before becoming vice president of corporate strategy and professional services at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center in Olney, Maryland.
As a leader in health care, Sexten specializes in managing operations with a specific expertise in strategic business planning in the evolving healthcare market. She is active in the community, serving on a number of local and national boards and committees, including the Wisconsin Hospice & Palliative Care Association, National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI) and the International Women’s Forum (IWF) of Wisconsin. She has been recognized for her leadership, receiving numerous awards, including being named one of Madison’s 25 Most Influential People in 2015.
Sexten holds a master’s degree in health administration and a bachelor’s degree in biomedical communications from The Ohio State University in Columbus. She is certified as a fellow of the America College of Healthcare Executives.
Chief Quality Officer
As chief quality officer, Jen Flugaur oversees Agrace’s Medical Services, Clinical Education, Inpatient Care, Quality, Compliance, Infection Prevention and Health Information Management (HIM) teams.
Jen joined Agrace in 2008 as a Registered Nurse and has worked in Quality and Compliance since 2013. Since 2015 she has served terms on NHPCO’s Regulatory and Quality and Standards Committee where she has had the opportunity to work with other hospice professionals to advance end-of-life care. She also serves on the Education Committee for the Wisconsin Hospice and Palliative Care Association.
In addition to her BSN, Jen is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), has obtained her Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Corporate Compliance from George Washington University and her MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
Chief Growth Officer
As chief growth officer, Kevin Kirkland leads efforts to effectively collaborate with community partners, build new programs, and further expand Agrace’s reach to serve Wisconsinites who are aging, seriously ill or dying.
Before joining Agrace’s Executive Leadership Team, Kevin was president of the Eastern Division at OnePoint Patient Care, a hospice pharmacy serving all 50 states. There, he managed all pharmacy operations in the Eastern region while supporting long-term expansion and growth efforts.
Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in communications from the Elon University.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
In her role as executive vice president and chief financial officer, Jennifer Maurer oversees the Finance and Technology teams at Agrace. She was previously the vice president of finance at Natus Medical, Inc., a neuro diagnostic and monitoring equipment manufacturer. Maurer’s career includes experience in medical device manufacturing for GE Healthcare as well as work for Johnson Controls.
Jennifer is a Wisconsin Licensed CPA and received her accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Chief Operating Officer
As chief operating officer, Jamie Moen provides strategic direction, leadership and operational oversight for inpatient and home-based care, supportive care and supply and equipment management.
Before joining Agrace’s Executive Leadership Team, Jamie led the home and community services for Genesis Health System, a nonprofit health system based in Davenport, Iowa. She has more than 15 years of experience in leading dynamic strategies related to organizational growth, operational change management and profit & loss management.
Jamie received her MBA and undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa.
Vice President of Human Resources
As vice president of human resources, Kari Potter oversees Agrace’s human resources, volunteer services and employee engagement programs, and leads its Veterans Affairs Task Force.
Kari has more than 25 years of human resources management experience, most recently serving as the senior director of human resources for UW Health, a Madison-based integrated academic health care system with more than 15,000 employees and physicians.
Kari earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in human resources management, from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She is a member of several local and national human resources and health care professional organizations such as the American Medical Group Association CHRO Council, Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Wisconsin Healthcare Human Resources Association.

Matt Richards, of Middleton, Wis., is president and CEO of Strand Associates, Inc., a multidisciplinary engineering firm that serves the needs of public and private sector clients throughout the United States. He joined Strand in 1998, and after several years of managing risk for the firm, Richards was promoted to president and CEO in 2019. In addition to serving on Agrace’s board, Richards is also a member of Strand’s board of directors and executive committee. He joined the Agrace board of directors in 2020.

SVP, Employee Services, Lands’ End
Kelly Ritchie is the Chief Human Resources officer for Lands’ End, Inc. She is responsible for all of the employee service functions including recruitment, development, benefits, compensation, and employee communications as well as the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategies. A seasoned Lands’ End veteran, Richie is the perfect person to manage the company’s most important asset: it’s people. Ritchie joined Lands’ End in 1985 and became Vice President and executive team member in 1995. Previously in her career she led Customer Service and the Distribution Centers for Lands’ End. Ritchie earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. She joined Agrace board of directors in 2020.

Chief Health Initiatives Officer, Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness
Gabe Doyle currently serves as the chief health initiatives officer at The Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness, where he oversees development and implementation of growth initiatives. He comes to the Agrace board with over 15 years of collective impact leadership with health systems and community-based organizations. Gabe joined the Agrace board in June of 2024.

Lisa Olson, of Madison, serves as the Senior Program Manager, Public Health System Transformation at the CDC Foundation. Lisa joined the Agrace board of directors in June 2023.
Executive Director, Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative
Since 1979, Tim has been the Executive Director of the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative (RWHC) based in Sauk City, a collaborative of 42 rural hospitals and local health systems with the twin mission of shared services and advocacy. He helped to found RWHC while working as an Associate Superintendent at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison and after serving as the administrator of the Hospital Metodista in La Paz, Bolivia.
Tim has a BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University, a MBA from the University of Chicago and an Honorary Doctorate from the Medical College of Wisconsin as well as having benefited from a three year Kellogg National Fellowship.
Tim is the Immediate Past President of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters, President of the Wisconsin Council of Medical Education and Work Force, Vice-Chair of the Wisconsin Health & Facilities Authority (the State’s bond authority for health and educational facilities and other non-profits) and on the Boards of the Wisconsin Primary Care Association and Wisconsin Partners, as well as advisory boards for the University of Wisconsin’s Population Health Institute and Center for Aging, Research and Education.
He has held a variety of national posts including two separate terms on the DHHS National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services and as President of the National Rural Health Association (NRHA). He helped to found and continues on the Board of the NRHA Foundation to support funding for the development of the next generation of rural health leaders.

Tanika Apaloo, of Madison, Wis., is the multicultural outreach & adult education coordinator and community engagement & diversity liaison for the Wisconsin Historical Society. She serves as the Society’s expert on educational outreach to adults, especially in under-served communities, and builds partnerships and collaborations to enhance the Society’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. Apaloo is also the owner of Badger Moves, where she provides leadership and business management and drives future operational planning. She joined the Agrace Foundation board in 2022.

Casey FitzRandolph, of Cross Plains, Wis., is partner and senior account executive in the Madison office of M3 Insurance. FitzRandolph studied at Carroll University in Waukesha, while he competed in three Olympics and won a gold medal in speedskating in 2002. FitzRandolph is a licensed agent for property and casualty insurance in Wisconsin and holds his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. In addition to serving on Agrace’s board, FitzRandolph serves on the board of directors for the Village Diaper Bank. He joined the Agrace Foundation board in 2020.

Travis Hamele is the owner of United Country Hunting Properties, LLC., a recreational land marketing company for United Country Real Estate. Bernie McCracken, of Fitchburg, Wis., has more than 25 years of management, accounting and finance experience. He is chief financial officer for Lands’ End, Inc. in Dodgeville, where he is responsible for financial reporting, corporate finance and planning, internal auditing, accounting operations, treasury, tax and business compliance. He joined the Agrace Foundation board in 2022.

Mark Pent, of Madison, Wis., is the branch director of the Madison office for Annex Wealth Management, a Registered Independent Advisory firm based in Elm Grove. In this capacity, he oversees the branch staff and serves as a wealth manager. Mark also serves as chair of the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army of Dane County. Mark joined the Agrace Foundation board in June 2023.

Susan Schmitz, of Madison, Wis., recently served as executive director of Downtown Madison, Inc. (DMI). She is owner and president of Schmitz Consulting, LLC., which focuses on advocacy, fundraising, affordable housing, homeless challenges and transportation. Susan joined the Agrace Foundation board in June 2023 and completed a two-year term as a member of the Wisconsin State Journal Editorial Board that July.
