Memorial Dedication Events

Please feel free to invite any family and friends who would like to join you (there is no limit).

After the event date, bricks and butterflies are available to visit at any time that is convenient to you.

There is no dress code. We recommend checking the weather in advance and bringing an umbrella if needed. Insect repellant spray is also recommended.

The Memorial Walk in Madison is paved with bricks and could be slippery. We advise that you wear flat shoes with good traction.

Refreshments will be provided at both events. Seating is available at both events.

For the safety of all attendees, we ask that you do not bring pets (unless it is a certified service animal) and please refrain from smoking.

A parking map will be provided here closer to the date of the event. Parking fills up quickly, please plan accordingly. We will have drop-off and special needs parking areas, which will be shown on the map.

In Madison, the event is held in a large tent in the parking lot, adjacent to the Memorial Walk.

In Janesville, the event is held in the Butterfly Garden, located directly behind the Agrace building.

In Madison, handicap accessible restrooms are available inside the Agrace building.

Programs will be provided at the event stating the location of your honoree’s brick or butterfly, along with a map of the space. Volunteers will be there to assist. View a map of the Memorial Walk here.

Both events are held rain or shine, but in cases of severe weather, cancellation will be posted on this page by 8 a.m.
