If someone you know is seriously ill, dying or grieving, they can turn to Agrace for support. A local, nonprofit health care organization, Agrace is well known for its compassionate hospice care, palliative care and grief support in Sauk County and across all of southern Wisconsin.
To help ensure all area residents have access to its services, Agrace is holding its 11th annual “A Round with Agrace” fundraiser at Trappers Turn Golf Club in Wisconsin Dells on Thursday, July 9. The day includes 18 holes of golf, a putting contest, on-course games, a silent auction and post-golf happy hour. Donors, golfers and guests are welcome, and online registration is now open.
Attendees will enjoy games, prizes and golf on an award-winning course. Check-in begins at 9 a.m., with a shotgun start and lunch at 11 a.m. A variety of sponsorship and group golf packages are still available. Sponsors are asked to reserve their sponsorship by June 15. Non-golfers are welcome to attend a post-golf happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Generous community supporters of this benefit event include Kalahari Resorts & Conventions and Log Gables, S&L Companies, Kayser Lincoln, Bank of Wisconsin Dells, Holiday Wholesale, Easton Motors and JP Cullen.
Proceeds from ‘A Round with Agrace’ help cover the cost of providing free or discounted hospice care to Agrace patients who qualify financially. This often includes people whose insurance doesn’t adequately cover their care, those who are too young to have Medicare, and those whose lengthy or expensive medical treatment has left them without a cure—and with no way to pay for end-of-life care.
To register online, visit Agrace.org/RoundWithAgrace. For information about sponsorship, contact the Agrace Foundation at events@agrace.org or call (608) 327-7180.
