Agrace Offers Dementia Care Consultations

When a loved one shows signs of dementia, families often face difficult questions about care, decisions and costs.

Agrace offers Dementia Care Consultations to help answer these questions and bring clarity to families navigating this challenging time. In a one-hour session, our dementia support specialist will provide personalized guidance, share helpful resources and recommend next steps—including any Agrace services and other community support that may fit your situation.

Dementia Care Consultations cost $50 and are available virtually by phone or video call. To schedule a consultation, visit Agrace.org/dementia or call 608-276-4660.

Agrace Offers Virtual Grief Support Group in June

In June, Agrace is offering Journey Through Grief, a professionally led grief support group for adults who are grieving a death.

This group is most appropriate for participants after it has been two months since the death occurred and meets for six consecutive weeks. The group meets virtually on Tuesdays, June 2 to July 7, from 1:30-3 p.m.

There is no fee for these groups if a participant’s family member received hospice care from Agrace within the past 12 months; fees for others can be lowered or waived, if needed. The Agrace Thrift Store in Janesville is looking for volunteers to help sort donations and create eye-catching displays. Whether you love hunting for treasures, making things look their best or just want to give back to your community, there’s a place for you here.
