As the holiday season gets underway, Agrace’s annual Holiday Pop-up Shop is back with items for entertaining, decorating, and gift giving, and every purchase you make supports a good cause.
This is the 7th year the nonprofit is holding the pop-up shop.
Located at the center of Madison’s East Towne mall, the store is stocked with a variety of Christmas-themed items, all of which were donated for the sale.
Volunteers create the holiday magic behind the sale. Volunteers helped for over 400 hours collectively to set up this year’s shop. The shop runs until Saturday, Nov. 29 and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
Agrace is a nonprofit healthcare agency. The organization provides hospice care and grief support throughout Wisconsin.
According to Liz Kopling, the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Agrace, Agrace made over $17,000 from openings sales this year. The shop popped-up on Thursday, Oct. 30.
All proceeds from sales help fund Agrace’s community grief support services, including those offered through Agrace Grief Support Center in Fitchburg.
“Agrace is blown away by the support of our Holiday Pop-up,” Kopling said. “Every year we have people waiting to find out what our location is going to be. We have people that come from all over Wisconsin to shop. We have lines out the door on opening day.”
As the shop prepares to close for the season a variety of special sales are coming up. On Saturday, Nov. 22 ornaments are 2 for $1. On Black Friday (Friday, Nov. 28), there will be a 50% off storewide sale. On Small Business Saturday (Saturday, Nov. 29), there will be a 70% off storewide sale.
Agrace is also in need of volunteers. You can learn more by calling Agrace at (608) 327-7163.
