A new option for end-of-life care has arrived in La Crosse County with the ribbon-cutting ceremony at Agrace’s new 3rd Street North office.
The nonprofit organization specializes in in-home hospice care and grief support services, addressing what officials describe as a growing need for local, compassionate end-of-life care in the community.
“We provide hospice services for anyone that needs them. Pediatrics through end of life and adulthood. We have case managers, case workers, CNAs, volunteers. Pretty much anything someone on hospice care would need,” said Homecare Manager Kelly Honish.
The organization actively seeks community volunteers to support its mission. Volunteer opportunities include patient visits and light support tasks that complement the professional medical care provided by staff members.
