As reported by WIZM News Talk, Brad Williams
A new hospice care agency in La Crosse is celebrating its grand opening.
Agrace provides care for dementia patients, and persons who are expected to live for a short time. Taking part in the ceremony was Agrace CEO Lynne Sexten, who called the opening a “cool moment” for the firm. “People come before profits,” said Sexten. “We are a non-profit, and we hold that to be very, very much our ‘true north.’”
“We get to come to the community,” Sexten says, “and the surrounding communities, and we get to bring our brand of hospice care to folks who are very much in need of it.”
Also attending the ribbon-cutting was Agrace’s chief growth officer, Kevin Kirkland, who said the La Crosse market provides “incredible potential” for the company to expand its operations.
