Agrace Recognized as Recipient of Crystal Vision Award

In celebration of Eye Donation Month, Agrace was recognized by the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin (LEBW) as a recipient of the 2024 Crystal Vision Award. A local, nonprofit, community-supported health care organization, Agrace is well-known for its compassionate hospice care, supportive (palliative) care and grief support throughout southwest Wisconsin.

This award is presented annually to hospices, hospitals and other community partners who demonstrate outstanding commitment and dedication to furthering the mission of giving the gift of sight, through organ and tissue donation.

In 2023, Agrace made a total of 27 donor referrals, helping recipients in Wisconsin, the United States, and worldwide—including individuals in Egypt and Morocco.

Since 2007, Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin has honored advocates of donation who have shown commitment and dedication to raising awareness and educating communities on the importance of eye donation.

LEBW honored 21 recipients from various categories this year including surgeons, hospitals, medical examiners, funeral homes, and other community partners. The 2024 Crystal Vision Award recipients continue to demonstrate a commitment and passion by sharing the mission of healing lives through the gift of transplantation and the support of their community.
