You may have other options for care from Agrace.
Even if your doctor or your family suggests hospice, asking for end-of-life care is never easy. You may not be ready emotionally to choose hospice care. You may want time to absorb what this choice means. Or you may want to keep having treatment in the hope of a cure.
If you are struggling with pain, other physical symptoms or stress related to any serious illness and are not enrolled in hospice care, Agrace Supportive Care, may be able to help. This service provides palliative (PAL-lee-ah-tiv) care consultations for adults who need more relief from their symptoms, or the side effects of their medicines and curative treatments.
Agrace Supportive Care begins with a detailed, in-home consultation with an Agrace nurse practitioner. Unlike hospice care, Supportive Care is appropriate at any time during your illness, including while you continue to have treatment.
