BARABOO, Wis. – When grieving the death of a loved one, it’s difficult to know what to expect. As local experts on issues involving death and dying, Agrace Hospice & Palliative Care is hosting free “Grief 101” presentations in Baraboo and Reedsburg on Thursday, September 7. The Reedsburg presentation will take place at the Reedsburg Library, 370 Vine Street, Reedsburg, from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. The Baraboo presentation will be at Agrace Hospice & Palliative Care, 1670 South Boulevard in Baraboo, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
“Grief 101” is a presentation that will cover common reactions to grief and suggestions for coping. Any adult who is grieving the death of a loved one is welcome to attend, even if the person who died did not have hospice care. Pre-registration is not required and light refreshments will be served.
The session will be led by Colleen Pulvermacher, MS, Certified Grief Support Specialist, who understands the emotional nature of this loss and the importance of building a consistent, natural support system. The presentation will also explore:
