ROCKFORD, Ill. – Agrace has hired Loves Park resident Tami Kellerman as development manager, serving as a liaison to Agrace’s Rock County and northern Illinois communities. As development manager, Kellerman will represent the Agrace Foundation and lead community outreach efforts in Rock County and northern Illinois.
Agrace is Wisconsin’s largest nonprofit palliative care and hospice agency, providing end-of-life care and related services to people in southern Wisconsin communities for nearly 40 years. In late 2016, Agrace opened an office at 7290 Argus Drive in Rockford, and began serving patients and families in four counties in northern Illinois.
Prior to joining Agrace, Kellerman served as executive director of the Haven Network, where she led expansion and development initiatives in Rockford and surrounding communities. She also owned a strategic planning consulting company in Rockford.
Kellerman has nearly 25 years’ experience serving the business development needs of community-based nonprofits in Illinois, Florida and Georgia. Kellerman is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and holds a master’s in public administration from Valdosta State College in Valdosta, Ga.
“As an active member of the Rockford community, Tami has a passion for helping connect people in northern Illinois with the compassionate, quality care Agrace provides,” said Marcia Whittington, chief development officer for Agrace. “Agrace has a long history of community support in Janesville. As we extend our mission to serve northern Illinois as well, Tami will help the Agrace Foundation maintain a strong presence in the communities we serve, so we can sustain our commitment to care for all people who need us.”
