Visiting Agrace (effective March 1, 2023):

Visitors must self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms and sign in at the reception desk before they can visit Agrace’s hospice inpatient units and other areas of our buildings.
Visitors must wear an N95/KN95 or Agrace-provided surgical mask while at Agrace. Visitors must wear a face mask in any place they may encounter patients or staff. The only times visitors may be without a mask are if they are eating or drinking in the café or in an enclosed space, like a patient room or private kitchenette, with no staff present.

Rev. Charles Olson Joins Agrace as Spiritual and Grief Counselor

Agrace Hospice & Palliative Care has hired Rockford pastor Charles “Chuck” Olson as Spiritual and Grief Counselor on Agrace’s Rockford-based hospice care team. With an office at 7290 Argus Drive in Rockford, Agrace is a local, nonprofit palliative care and hospice agency, providing end-of-life care and related services to people in four counties in northern Illinois.

Olson comes to Agrace with many years of experience as an ordained Lutheran pastor in both Indiana and Illinois. He is currently serving as the pastor at Calvary Lutheran Church in Rockford. Olson holds both a master of Divinity and a doctor of Ministry from Lutheran School of Theology and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Augustana College. He holds certifications in marriage and family therapy, geriatric therapy and alcohol and substance abuse counseling.
