Learn about ways to honor someone special to you while supporting Agrace.
Memorial donations help Agrace provide essential services that are not covered, or only partially covered, by Medicare, Medicaid or insurance. These include grief support services, respite care for hospice patients, specialized clinical education for staff, and Care for All, a program that funds care for patients who cannot afford the services they need from Agrace.
Handcrafted iron trellis panels that are filled with personalized butterflies stand in the gardens at Agrace in Janesville. It’s a peaceful place to feel the sunshine and reflect on loved ones who have made a beautiful, lasting imprint on our lives.
Each summer, Agrace adds engraved butterflies to the Butterfly Memorial and holds a dedication open house for all donors and their families. These tributes become part of the landscape for others to enjoy—and the gift behind them supports Agrace’s mission of compassionate care. Butterflies are returned to you as a keepsake a year after the dedication, or you can choose to keep your butterfly up with an annual sustaining gift.
Coming soon in Madison! In 2024, a Butterfly Memorial will be installed along the Memorial Walk at Agrace in Madison. You can be one of the first to honor a loved one with a butterfly on Agrace’s Madison Butterfly Memorial.

Accented with personalized tribute bricks, the Agrace Memorial Walk encircles a small pond and fountain on the Agrace campus in Madison. It’s a peaceful place where you can honor people who have left a lasting imprint on your life and visit anytime.
Agrace adds engraved bricks purchased by donors to the Memorial Walk once a year and holds a ceremony each summer for family and friends to honor the memories of those named on new bricks.

Promises to Keep: When your investment in Agrace totals $10,000 or more (cumulatively), you are invited to join our Promises to Keep Circle. Your or your loved one’s name can be added to our donor-recognition walls at Agrace in Madison or Janesville.
Legacy Circle: Donors who share in a commitment to the future of Agrace by making estate gifts are invited to join our Legacy Circle and have your or your loved one’s name listed on our donor-recognition wall. Please contact Beth Larson in the Agrace Foundation to learn more at (608) 327-7139.
The most special days celebrated with your loved one throughout their life can become a day to honor their legacy. Consider making a gift to Agrace that marks a special occasion, such as a loved one’s birthday or anniversary.
