Agrace announced today that it has once again earned the #1 Top Workplace award among large companies in its region participating in the Wisconsin State Journal’s 2024 Top Workplaces survey. Additionally, Agrace received a special award for having outstanding managers.
A Madison-based healthcare nonprofit, Agrace employs more than 880 people who work to fulfill its mission of providing hospice care, supportive care, non-medical senior care, adult day services and grief support across southern Wisconsin.
Winners of Wisconsin State Journal Top Workplaces recognition are chosen based solely on employee feedback gathered through a 23-question employee survey administered by Energage. Based in Pennsylvania, Energage determines which companies merit awards by comparing local survey results to its national benchmarks, established from surveying more than 31 million employees over 17 years.
“We’re incredibly honored to be named Madison’s Best Place to Work again this year and receive the Management award,” said Lynne Sexten, Agrace’s president & CEO. “Because this recognition is based solely on employee feedback, it’s a testament to our amazing team. It reinforces Agrace’s commitment to fostering a positive, collaborative and trusting culture for our staff—and those qualities carry over into patient care.”
She added, “Our managers excel at building relationships and creating a work environment where everyone can thrive. This award is a well-deserved recognition of their efforts.”
Agrace serves people across southern Wisconsin who are aging, seriously ill, dying or grieving. Most of the agency’s services are provided in patients’ homes. Agrace also operates two hospice inpatient units, a hospice memory care unit, an Adult Day Center and a Grief Support Center.
