Palmyra resident and nurse practitioner Annette Bennett-Otto has joined Agrace, a nonprofit, community-supported health care organization that provides hospice care, supportive (palliative) care, non-medical personal care, adult day care and grief support across southern Wisconsin.
A board-certified family nurse practitioner, Bennett-Otto serves Agrace Supportive Care patients in Jefferson County community. In this role, she provides palliative care consultations for people who are living with a life-altering illness and need more relief from their symptoms and stress. Agrace Supportive Care can help people live better at any stage of a serious illness and begins with a detailed, in-home visit with a Supportive Care nurse practitioner.
Bennett-Otto holds a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, Ill. She has more than a decade of experience as an advance practice nurse and comes to Agrace from Optum HealthCare and Independent Psychiatric Consultants, where she worked as a nurse practitioner.
“Annette has a wealth of knowledge and experience helping patients who are chronically ill or have complex care needs,” said Danielle DiGennaro, Agrace Supportive Care director. “Her compassion, experience and unique combination of advanced nursing skills will bring tremendous health care value to people in Jefferson County.”
