Raj Hiranandani, MD, of Eau Claire, Wis., has joined the medical services team of Agrace, a nonprofit, community-supported health care organization that provides hospice care, supportive (palliative) care, non-medical personal care, adult day services and grief support across southern Wisconsin.
As a hospice and palliative physician, Dr. Hiranandani will work with an Agrace hospice interdisciplinary team to coordinate end-of-life care for Agrace’s hospice patients and their families.
Dr. Hiranandani is board-certified in hospice and palliative medicine and internal medicine and holds a medical humanities certification. He earned his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, and completed his fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He is completing a second fellowship in contemplative medicine with the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care.
Prior to joining Agrace, Dr. Hiranandani was an internal medicine physician and hospice medical director with Marshfield Clinic Health System in Park Falls, Wis.
