In April, Agrace will begin “Journey Through Grief,” a six-week grief support group series for adults who are grieving a death. Any adult in the community who is grieving a death can join, even if the person who died did not have hospice care.
The group meets weekly at Schmitt Woodland Hills Community Room, 1400 W. Seminary Street, Richland Center, on Thursdays, April 26 through May 31, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Attendance is free, for 12 months after the patient’s death, to families of people who were served by Agrace HospiceCare or any other hospice. Modest fees apply thereafter, and fees can be lowered or waived, if needed.
The session will be led by Colleen Pulvermacher, MS, Certified Grief Support Specialist, who understands the emotional nature of this loss and the importance of building a consistent, natural support system.
Pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, call Jody at (608) 327-7118, or visit agrace.org/griefgroups. Please register by April 16, 2018.
