Agrace is opening a holiday store focused on selling gently used, donated items for holiday entertaining, giving and decorating.
The Agrace Holiday Pop-Up Shop will open November 7, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at 6716 Odana Road, Madison. The store will be open three days a week from November 7 through December 28:
Proceeds from the pop-up shop will be used to help fund Agrace’s community grief support services, including support groups at the Agrace Grief Support Center in Fitchburg.
“Agrace offers support to all grieving people in the community, including people whose loved ones were not Agrace HospiceCare patients,” said Jessica Shiveler, Agrace’s community grief manager. Last year, Agrace supported 588 adults and children through individual grief support sessions, family grief support groups and visits to grieving children at local schools. The cost of offering these services comes solely from community donations.
Agrace operates four resale stores in south central Wisconsin—three traditional thrift stores in Madison and Janesville, and one home store in Madison, which focuses on furniture and décor.
