How Agrace is Keeping Patients, Families and Staff Safe, Related to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
We are taking several steps to protect our patients, their families and our staff, volunteers and visitors in the wake of the local concern over COVID-19. Based on guidance from the CDC and CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), we are screening patients and families before each home visit. We are also screening all visitors before they are permitted to enter our inpatient units, and the number of visitors per patient may be limited. If you have any questions before visiting Agrace, please call (800) 553-4289.
We will review and adapt our actions as needed over the coming days and weeks. Please know that we are taking appropriate steps to prevent the spread of illness while also pursuing our mission of compassionate care.
As you will understand, we are doing our part to prevent coronavirus (COVID-19) by cancelling, closing or postponing the following:
All Agrace grief support groups have been cancelled until further notice, including Bridges, our “drop-in” support group. Visit agrace.org/griefgroups for updates.
We will offer individual grief support by phone with our grief support specialists; please call (608) 327-7110 to ask for an appointment. We will take as many appointments as we can, subject to staff availability.
Our PalliaHealth caregiver support group meetings scheduled for March 25 and April 22 have been cancelled. The next meeting is May 27.
All four Agrace thrift stores are closed until it is safe to re-open.
