Agrace launches virtual grief support groups

Local children, teenagers and adults can now attend virtual grief support groups, Agrace announced Tuesday.
According to a news release, support groups are available bi-weekly from January to May.
Agrace noted that pre-registration is required for all of the groups and residents can call (608) 327-7135 to ask about openings.
Here are the groups available:
- Child Loss Support Group: This group is for adults who have experienced the death of a child and are the primary caregivers of school-aged children or teens. The group meets from 7-8 p.m. every other Tuesday.
- Spouse/Partner Loss Support Group: This group is for adults who have school-aged children or teens and whose spouse or partner has died. The group meets every other 7-8 p.m. Wednesday.
- Sibling Loss Support Group: This group is for children ages 5-18 who have lost a sibling. The group meets from 6-6:45 p.m. every other Monday. Children will be grouped together based on their age.
- Parent/Primary Caregiver Loss Groups: This group is for children ages 5-18 whose parent or primary caregiver has died. The group meets from 6-6:45 p.m. every other Thursday. Children will be grouped based on their age.
