Enoch made a great connection with Charlie from their first meeting… Charlie is an avid high school football fan, and they hit it off quickly with a conversation about that. Charlie always referred to Enoch as a good guy, and as his family we could not agree more. Charlie has some anxiety at times, and Enoch had a kind and gentle way to redirect him and work through steps to get him back to a sense of calm. Because Charlie trusted him and liked him, he was able to walk him through some different exercises and activities, like we did as family. Enoch was very helpful to Charlie, and because of his reliability, it allowed Charlie to stay at home longer than we would have probably been able to do otherwise on our own. On one of his last shifts before Charlie moved to assisted living, they attended an away game together and got to ride the player’s bus to Weyauwega for the game. They were on the sidelines with the team and it meant the world to Charlie to be able to go. Enoch made it easier for Charlie to attend, and it was great to see their friendship come full circle, as Charlie shared this special part of his life with Enoch!
