MADISON, Wis. – On Thursday, August 24, Agrace Hospice Care at 5395 E. Parkway, Madison, is hosting a reception for Adams Outdoor Advertising of Madison. Adams is being recognized for its on-going initiative called “Collaborate” which provides selected non-profits with a year-long branding campaign. The free campaign includes art-work, space, and production services valued at $250,000.
Since the program’s inception in 2016, Adams has donated services and advertising valued at $2.5 million to the following non-profits; Gilda’s Club, Lily’s Fund, Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, Olbrich Botanical Gardens, Ronald McDonald House, Second Harvest Foodbank, The Salvation Army of Dane County, Badger Honor Flight, Domestic Abuse Intervention Services, and Operation Fresh Start. A new non-profit campaign rolls out about every 90 days. Reach Dane, Underdog Pet Rescue, VSA Wisconsin and Foundation of Madison Public School’s campaigns are slated to roll out in 2018-2019.
“When I first arrived in Madison, Adams was working with over 450 non-profits,” said general manager Todd McWilliams. “Narrowing our focus to seven or eight non-profits each year enables us to have a much deeper impact.”
“Besides their Collaborate program, Adams has sponsored Agrace’s Butterfly Gala and Auto Raffle for several years,” says Liz Kopling, Agrace’s director of marketing and communications. “Michael Hanson of the Salvation Army and Agrace decided to recognize Adams’ contributions to the community.”
The reception takes place from 4-6 p.m. on August 24, with a short program at 4:30 p.m.
Adams will start accepting applications for the 2018 Collaborate program in October of 2017.
