Handcrafted iron trellis panels that are filled with personalized butterflies stand in the gardens at Agrace in Janesville. It’s a peaceful place to feel the sunshine and reflect on loved ones who have made a beautiful, lasting imprint on our lives.
Each summer, Agrace adds engraved butterflies to the Butterfly Memorial and holds a dedication open house for all donors and their families. These tributes become part of the landscape for others to enjoy—and the gift behind them supports Agrace’s mission of compassionate care. Butterflies are returned to you as a keepsake a year after the dedication, or you can choose to keep your butterfly up with an annual sustaining gift.
Coming soon in Madison! In 2024, a Butterfly Memorial will be installed along the Memorial Walk at Agrace in Madison. You can be one of the first to honor a loved one with a butterfly on Agrace’s Madison Butterfly Memorial.

Accented with personalized tribute bricks, the Agrace Memorial Walk encircles a small pond and fountain on the Agrace campus in Madison. It’s a peaceful place where you can honor people who have left a lasting imprint on your life and visit anytime.
Agrace adds engraved bricks purchased by donors to the Memorial Walk once a year and holds a ceremony each summer for family and friends to honor the memories of those named on new bricks.

From 1993 to 2014, families served by Agrace were invited to create a personalized quilt square in honor of their loved one who died. The squares were lovingly joined into more than 140 quilts, which you can view in the picture gallery below.
